  • We have 206 bones in our body.

  • 8 Bones are in each wrist.
  • 23 Bones are in each Foot including ankle.
  • Our Bones consist of 50% Water & 50% Solid Matter.

New Born Babies have around 305 Bones, while an Adult has only about 206 Bones. This is because some Bones Fuse or Grow together as we get older.
A Baby's skeleton is mostly made up of Cartilage (soft bones). As a person grows up, most of this Cartilage turns into Bones in a process called Ossification (The Natural Process of Bone Formation). By adulthood, the skeleton has just 206 Bones.
