STAR FISH

"STARFISH"



  •   There are over 2,000 species of Starfish.
  •  Starfish is not really Fish.
  •  Starfish are about 5-10 inches.
  •  They weigh about 5 kg.
  •  Starfish doesn't have BRAIN.
  •  Starfish's body has no BLOOD.
  •  That is why they have that special sensor in their Body.
  •  Their BLOOD is actually Filtered SEA WATER.
  •  & finally Nervous System is Spread through out their Arms.
  •  The average live span for a Starfish is up to 35 years.
  •  Starfish can switch their gender whenever they like.
  •  Starfish are very Slow Sea animal.
  •  since they are Slow, they had to adapt to Eat Slower Creatures.
  •  Starfish have two stomach.
  •  They use stomach, not Mouth to draw in Food.

  • We have 206 bones in our body.

  • 23 Bones are in each Foot including ankle.
  • Our Bones consist of 50% Water & 50% Solid Matter.

            New Born Babies have around 305 Bones, while an Adult has only about 206 Bones. This is because some Bones Fuse or Grow together as we get older. 
             A Baby's skeleton is mostly made up of Cartilage (soft bones). As a person grows up, most of this Cartilage turns into Bones in a process called Ossification (The Natural Process of Bone Formation). By adulthood, the skeleton has just 206 Bones.
